About our fine furniture and interior design
With the aim of offering high-quality home furnishings, Stewart and Company Fine Furniture and Interior Design was founded in 1941 by James Stewart Sr. and Durwood Clarke as Stewart & Clarke Furniture. After 19 years with Leath Furniture Company, they decided to leave this national chain to begin a successful independent locally owned home furnishing and decorating store.
Today the tradition of personalized service, quality merchandise and exceptional values continues. Cindy Stewart and the professional design staff select special collections from throughout the world for a broad assortment of styles. We offer several well-known quality brands made in the USA.
